Support Network

The Mito Foundation Support NetworkThe Mito Foundation Support Network facilitates connections between people affected by mitochondrial disease (mito). The network makes it easy to reach out and find support from someone who understands what it is like to live with this complex condition.

It consists of patients and carers who are happy to be contacted by others in a similar situation. It includes details, such as their name, age, location, connection to mito and their contact details, as shown in the example below:

If you would like to have your details listed on the Support Network, please email Rebecca with the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your age or age bracket
  • Your connection to mito, e.g. parent, patient, carer, and the type of mito
  • Your contact information
  • Any additional information we may need, e.g. if you are unavailable on weekends.

The network is opt-in and we will only include details provided specifically for that purpose. You can be removed from the network at any time.
