About the event
This relaxed conversation is for people with a connection to mito. This includes people living with mito, family members, carers and supporters.
It is a chance to meet others in the mito community and hear from people with shared experiences. You do not need to prepare anything. There is no pressure to share, and you can join in the way that feels right for you. Some people come to share their story or ask questions. Others come to listen or spend time with people who understand.
Shelley and Matthew are members of the mito community and will guide the conversation.
It is a warm and respectful space. You do not need to explain everything from the start or have the right words ready. You may be new to mito, have lived with mito for many years, or support someone close to you; you are welcome to join.
This event is not for people with no personal connection to mito.
This means it is not for research, study, work, or service needs. To learn more about mito or lived experience, please get in touch with Mito Foundation.
