Adapting to changing symptoms

Mitochondrial disease (mito) can cause any symptom in any organ at any age. If you’re dealing with changing symptoms, it’s natural to wonder how others feel. Research shows that people with chronic conditions often feel strained. Rates of depression can be higher than in the general population.

In this online conversation, Shelley, a registered psychologist, will cover practical coping strategies. These will help you adapt to new symptoms and focus on your wellbeing.

We encourage you to submit your questions in advance.
