About the event
Feeling stretched too thin or finding it hard to say no? This Mito Wellbeing Call is a space to pause, reflect, and explore how boundaries can protect your energy and wellbeing.
Led by Shelley, a psychologist and person living with mitochondrial disease (mito), this session will explore what burnout can look like when managing health challenges or caring for someone with mito. Shelley combines professional experience and personal insight to help others find balance and set limits with kindness and confidence.
Together, we’ll discuss:
• Early warning signs that you’re nearing burnout
• How clear boundaries can support mental and physical wellbeing
• Simple ways to say no that feel respectful and firm
• Practical reflections and short activities to help you check what’s working and what’s not
This call is for anyone living with, or caring for someone with mito, who wants to explore healthier boundaries and ways to protect their time and energy.
By joining, you’ll:
• Reflect on your own boundaries and wellbeing
• Learn gentle, real-life ways to say no
• Connect with others who understand the challenges of mito life
• Leave with small, practical ideas you can use right away
