Join us for a discussion on how chronic pain can impact your wellbeing. This is designed for individuals who are impacted by mitochondrial disease (mito). Kim Allgood will lead the conversation. She is a dedicated advocate for mental health and wellbeing. Together we will learn how chronic pain affects daily life and practical ways to improve your wellness. The discussion will also offer support for navigating life with chronic pain.

Kim Allgood is the president of the Purple Bucket Foundation and a dedicated advocate for mental health and wellbeing. She specialises in supporting individuals and families affected by chronic illness. Kim has a compassionate approach grounded in her personal journey. She offers expertise in holistic health and community support. She’s committed to empowering others to thrive despite life’s challenges.

Laura is a Peer Support Coordinator in Mito Foundation’s Support Services team. She was diagnosed with mitochondrial myopathy in 2016. She understands the importance of community and works to create a sense of belonging for the people impacted by mito. She also works to improve understanding of mito.
