Light Up for Mito is a global campaign held during World Mitochondrial Disease Week.
On Saturday 20 September 2025, landmarks, buildings, and monuments will be illuminated green to raise awareness of mitochondrial disease (mito).
In previous year's we have seen some of Australia’s most iconic sites go green including the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the Tasman Bridge, St Kilda Sea Baths and Optus Stadium.
2025 is already a record-breaking year. We have an incredible 148 landmarks confirmed and counting!
