Increasing clinical trials for mito in Australia: our role
While new treatments are emerging worldwide, Australians are at risk of missing out. Access to clinical trials and emerging therapies remains limited.
The challenge now is clear. As global progress accelerates, Australia must strengthen its clinical trial capacity and connections to ensure people living with mito can benefit.
Through our 10-year action plan, Mito Foundation is building a trial-ready community, strengthening research capacity, and supporting collaboration across the sector.
We also track global clinical trial activity and provide clear information to help people understand their options and take part with confidence.
