Mito Connect Call – Reproductive options for people with mitochondrial disease

Tuesday, 15 June @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm AEST

In this Mito Connect Call, Dr. Suzanne Sallevelt (clinical geneticist) will lead the discussion which will include: A detailed outline of different reproductive options for mitochondrial DNA and nuclear DNA disease carriers An explanation of Prenatal Diagnosis (PND) and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) Discussion of Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS) testing during early pregnancy A walkthrough of mitochondrial donation Please come prepared with questions.
